Bala Sharks

Hi mostly I am finding that balas are good in commuinty tanks, but skidish with fast movers. What have you kept Balas with, with success?

I have 2 bala sharks with 5 green tiger barbs, they have acted great together and basically they are now a school of 7 fish
I have since added 1 oscar about 2 1/2 inches to the tank and they are also working out great together

I have the two bala sharks with 7 tiger barbs, 2 dwarf gouramis, and a giant danio.

EDIT: and now have them with 3 Mollys, 3 Sword Tails and 2 Red Finned Sharks. (or is that red tailed sharks??)

i have a trio of bala's in with angle's and gourami's. next addition will be a small group of clown loach.
i think bala's are fine with any community fish and if any thing the bala's are the ones you have too watch as they are big softy's, i have an albino rainbow shark who is about half the size of my bala's and he has on occasion driven them around the tank if they annoy him!!!

If anyone's after some more Bala's, I've got 3 to give away/donations in the reading/basingstoke/newbury area!

Rescued them from a tank that's far to small for them, so need to go asap.

Also there's some clown loaches

I have 2 sharks and 3 gouramis. i have 1 columbian shark and 1 silver shark.
