Bala Sharks

hi, are bala sharks completely peaceful fish and will they be fine with guppies, also, will it be alright to have 1 bala shark in a 240 litre tank with 8 guppies, 6 black widows and 6 corries.

bala sharks are schooling fish and should be kept in a group of at least 5.
they will reach 18" as adults and should not be kept in any tank less than 4ft long, 2ft wide.

guppies would be a tasty snack for adult balas

bala sharks usually need 6 feet tanks, as they are quite active and get massive.

as wolf mentionned, guppies will be a tasty snack for them !
