Bala Shark Rubbing

hello yesterday i bought 3 3 inch bala sharks. Today to of them are rubbing against each other rigourously up and down the tank and whenever the third one goes near them they chase him/her off. Any idea what this is? thanks

How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Sounds like normal Bala behaviour to me - they are just being playful (chasing included). My 4 do this all the time.

I know but wanted to make sure they were being kept in the right size tank, seen to many bala sharks in 20 gallons or less.

It sounds like classic bala sharks sorting out their pecking order. I expect you see this most often just after feeding.

You really want about 5 or more of these to see them at their best. Unfortunately few people have the space to house 5 fast swimming fish that will easily reach 10" and will oft push 12" or more.
