bala shark had bloody fins

i noticed one of my balas has red on all of his fins. my other one doesnt have this... this mofnin i foudn him lying on the bottom but after i put put in the tank he has been swimming around... i ran out of maradel copper safe... i am goin to buy some tonite...
anyone know what this is?

The only thing that I can think of that your bala might have is fin and tail rot. I am not sure about tonite as a medication though. Have you added aquarium salt to the tank yet?

On a more serious note, there are medications called "Today" and "Tomorrow", over here in the United States. They're for dairy cows :nod:

Are your fish's fins a blood-red color, or just reddish-pink? If they're not blood-red, they could be irritated by high chemical levels in the water, I think. Are your water parameters okay? Someone suggested to me that blood-red gills are a sign of parasites.
