Bala…last question guys

If the Bala shark should pass while we’re sleeping, what are the chances that the loach will start eating him? Any thoughts, opinions or input would be appreciated. Thanks so much everyone!

I would say the odds are pretty high. Fish are not at all sentimental about where they get their protein.

Yikes! Thx. I assumed that was what the general consensus would be… We went on vacation a long time ago, when we had 3 balas and a couple other fish…the tank was young…we had someone coming by to feed them yet somehow, when we returned, one of the Balas was a skeleton floating around, and the others weren’t talking! Needless to say, I never asked this person to feed my fish while I was away again.
