Badly Ripped Fin

i've had this minnow for years, hes about 7 years old and hes getting a bit weorn out, earlyer today he decided to hide under a peace of bogwood and not has a majoroty of his tail missing, he only has about 1/3 of it left now, he is swimming when he want's too but over all he hasb't been swiming uch anyway.
im buying a hospital tank because my dwarf gourami is having a bit of a fefild day chasing the poor guy, are there any recomended medications to help him heal.

in the morning when i can get to him, i am transffering him to a hospital tank so he wont get attacked by his tank mates

If you could get a combination of melafix and pimafix to treat him, this has helped heal fins quickly.
