Bad Luck With Lionfish

I've had bad luck with lionfish, kinda like that movie 'gone in 60 seconds' with that 67 shelby mustang (hence the name Elenor that i've already named the soon to be lion). i've had 2 die on me already. i think i just don't know how to deal with ich and fish diseases in saltwater yet. but, i WILL have a lionfish in my tank again, i love them. i was just hopin to get some basic guidlines, and what the warning signs are for disease in the fish and what to do about it (i know the eyes are a good indicator of health). i have coral and inverts, so ich meds are out. what else can i do about ich??

i have places in the tank where it would be able to get out of the current, and places to find shade, which i know they like. i plan to feed it ghost shrimp till it starts taking frozen food. other than this, what else should i know about them before i drop another 60 bucks on one?

any help would be great, cuz i am gettin another one eventually. thanks alot

tanks been loooooong cycled, and the water is perfect now (pH was alittle low a few days ago but that was easily corrected)
