Hi

I blacked out my tank for three days to get rid of green water (and it worked) but having checked my fish my cory has white cotton fungus around its mouth. If I treat with melafix will it affect the baby platies born during the blackout?

Are you able to isolate the cory at all? Also you need to do a half dose when treating your cory.

I wouldn't use the melafix with mouth fungus columnaris can soon rot the mouth away a bad strain.
Myxazin and pimafix.

No - I don't currently have a filtered hospital tank but thanks for the advice

Only time corys needs half dose is with parasite meds.
