My boyfriend and I have had a fish tank for about 10 months now and almost 2 months ago we upgraded to a 30 gallon tank. We have never had more than 15 small fish (tetras, danios etc) in the new tank at one time. We cycled the tank before moving our fish over and we moved the fish into the larger tank slowly. The past 10 days it looks like we have had a case of bacterial bloom. The water has become cloudy. We have been changing the water almost everyday and even bought water clarifier. The water is getting worse and worse. We have 2 filters in the tank...one that hangs over the top (whisper) and an under gravel filter. Our fish have started to die and the water is not looking any better despite the frequent water changes. Could it be the under gravel filter? Something just doesn't seem right about it. Are there any other suggestions of how to save our tank before the rest of the fish die? Please help! We love our fish and cannot figure out what is wrong.
