One of my other hobbies is winemaking. When yeast is first introduced to to my juice it undergoes aerobic fermentation. The idea is to get as much oxygen to the yeast as possible, to enable rapid growth.
I was wondering if I was to tee off my air line and fit a small airstone near the input of my filter, would this increase the efficiency of bacteria growth?
(I'm an ex-engineer, so my mind is always looking for alternative methods to improve things)
