Hi,

I have a flower horn which i have been keeping for almost 1 year,It is in a 33 gal with black background and white and Black gravel,

my fish is kind of dull now.... can anyone help me with this?

Some say the dull background is the reason for dull colouration and I should switch to brighter ones.

pl help.

Hi, welcome to the forum, unfortunately imo a 33g tank is too small for a flowerhorn, this might be a reason for the dull colour (stress). A flowerhorn = hybrid, so depending on what was crossed will guide you as to how it should look. Do you have any pics you can post? Whats the dimensions of the tank?

Good morning and welcome to the forum! :good: Don't flowerhorns get really large? I'd love to see a pic of yours. I've been concidering getting one some day but I haven't done enough research on them to know what size they will get to.
