Back In The Betta Game

After the unfortunate death of Herb the male VT i decided to putaway the hex tank.

but then these 2 females came my way!

only got a pic of 1, the other is darker with purple/blue fins - and likes to dash away just as the camera focuses


Now im new to keeping females, anything i should know?

ideally with females you want a minimum of 5 to spread aggresion (if your 2 are housed together) what size tank is it?

its just a small 5g hex, its what i kept my male in. is this ok for 5 females? if not i'll have a look on ebay for a cheap tank

ideally you want atleast a 10gal for females, with plenty of hiding places you could probably get 6 in there
