Baby Tears And Guppies

If you've never had live plants before I'd recommend starting with things like Cabomba and Elodea Densa as they grow easily, don't need any fertilizers or anything in the water. They just need low-medium light :)
 
Thanks paradise! I see you posted on my betta one. Thank you for answering me.... I hope I can figure out how to fert the plant w/o hurting the betta
 
You can get aquatic plant fertilizer that is safe to fish unless you OD them :)
 
Yes, they are easy to use... I have one that I can dose accurately with a dropper, much like doing meds. Really easy.

There's loads of different ferts around at different prices but if you're looking to have plants long-term, it might be best to mix your own. That's what I've done and although it costs a bit for all the salts at first, they last absolutely ages! :)
