My female Montezuma Sword dropped fry! I haven't had any livebearers since I was in elementary school so these are my first babies in 10+ years. Just thoguht i'd share
thanks. swords sure get cranky fast, though. They aren't even 24 hours and they're already tail chasing one another.
Mama also looks much happier not to have them inside her anymore. She has unclamped her fin and is being far less skittish than before which is good. I was beginning to worry that she might have been getting bullied, or was ill, rather than pregnant.
well, the picture in the first post is the only one that has come out so far, and i have no pics of mom because as i mentioned previously, she was waddlin about with her fins clamped and that doesn't make for a good picture
I do have a picture of my male. i don't know if he's the father, I've had these guys for about the length of the pregnancy, give or take, so it's possible he isn't.
