Baby mollies

I've set up a 50litre tank tonight for my baby mollies - have half filled it with water from existing tank. Is it ok to move my baby mollies into it next week? 7 are 3 weeks old and 4 are just under a week old. They seem so tiny to be in a tank on their own but I know it's bad for them to stay in the breeder net for ages. I've put a hagen fluval 2plus filter in the tank - I don't think they're in danger of getting stuck as it seems quite a good setup.

Just be sure that the tank is fully cycled. If you're concerned about the fry getting sucked into the filter, wrapped a piece of a net around the intake tube.

yep i also agree with sasha with babies you might want to take some precautions with the filter

You could get a sponge filter that way it will go it's job but you don't have to worry about the babies!
