Hi all, am new to this site and just wanted some advice if possible. have recently setup my Aqua art 60L tank. In my tank I have 5 Tetra's, 4 Harlequins, 2 Dalmation Mollies, 1 black Mollie (previously 2) :( and a few others, oh yeah and the 9 babies that have just appeared!!!! This is where I need the advice, HELP. Is there a special way to look after these Babies or just leave them to get on with it???

Any help would be great

Thanks

hi,
thats up to you,
if you want to save them all you could try and get them into a breeder net that you hang on the inside of your tank, or leave them to it. i leave mine to it now as i cant rehome every fry, i get at least one survive which i keep. if you go with the breeder net feed them crushed flake. hth Donna :)
ps now you have had fry born expect more in around 5-6weeks time.

Thanks Donna. I think I will leave them to it then and see what happens. They are now about 4 weeks old, so I take it that is good that they are all still around, or are complications still going to occur?? How long do you think it will take before i will know what tye of fish they are?? Oh yeah, thanks for the warning of more on the way!!! :/

hi,
if they are already 4 weeks old, and no fish are chasing them they will all prob survive,
do you mean type as in gender of the baby molly? this could take up to 5months to see what sex you end up with, all live bearers enjoy spinach deshelled peas that have been left for a few secs in boiled water and all fish enjoy frozen brine shrimp ect, good luck with them, Donna :)
