Baby Lemur in Fota Wildlife Park

This is one of two young baby Ring Tailed Lemurs born in Fota Wildlife Park in Cork, Ireland. Fota has a superb record of breeding endangered species and unlike zoos is mostly open plan with no bars. Lemurs are born in sets of twins and are cared for by the entire Lemur group.

He actually jumped up on the bench beside me and inspected my tripod for edibility, so we sat there until it started to rain then I grabbed the quick shot above before the whole group went indoors.

I thought it had more of a "Look at that abnormally Hairy Irishmen over there, lets go eat him" look on its face, Can't trust those lemurs.
