Baby Guppy Looks Panicy

one of my baby guppies stays on the floor of the hatchery in my tank with rapid gill movement and fin. i cant remember if this started today or if its a natural thing. i just gave them food and it looks active

Might be a belly slider. if that's the case, it should be culled.

Its not doing it anymore now i remember when i leave them in the dark for some time when ive gone out they do tend to stay on the surface like sitting down.

my neon tetra died 2 days ago it didnt have any problems and when i checked it the night before when i went to bed it looked alright and in the mornig it was dead. it looked like it did from old age as its colours where paler weeks before it died

its doing it again. do i need to feed less? they are 3 months old and 1 is about 1 month old

Should i feed them peas?

I would just leave it as normal and only intervene if he gets worse

How often and what are you feeding?

I would feed them about 2/3 times a day with tetra min baby flake food and sometimes peas in the weekends/holidays. he doesnt always stay at the bottom and im wondering should i let him out the hatchery because im abit worried that they might peck its mother or the other fish which they did once when i moved the mother in the hatchery because it looked unwell in and she ended up with finrot which i cued. Should i just let that guppy out or all of them?

For a 3-month guppy, it should be considered as an adult. A 2-month old guppy is already mature for mating. BTW, why are your guppies still in the hatchery? I would not leave fries in hatchery if they are big enough to eat crushed staple food and are more than a week old. Let them be in a growing tank of their own.

What are your water patameters reading?

i do notice that theres abit of red near the gills and i let them out the hatchery noor

It doesnt stay near the bottom but at the surface of the water most of the time. this could probably be because they all were near the surface when they were in the hatchery

I put the fry in a different place as this problem may spread

Heres my water paremeters:

Ammonia and nitrite: 0ppm

nitrate: 5.0ppm

i am starting to see its spine looking red
