i got a baby gold severum. He's about 1½inch, got some pics, i'll post em soon.

IMO a severum shouldn't be kept in a 20 gallon tank unless you plan to upgrade. They grow to 8" (20cm's) and can be quite territorial, like i have said frequent time, 20 gallon dosn't offer much territory! you already have the pair of firemouths in there, what will you do when they spawn and you have fry to think about?

they grow upto 12" 30cm, i had one that i got for free that was 27cm! to bad it died. while its small it should be ok but they grow fast be sure to get a bigger tank for it soon or else the same thing will happen like the oscar.
