Baby Gold Barb

Yesterday i bought 6 gold barbs and they came in the following sizes 3 medium and 3 small i put them in my tank and two of the small ones have disappeared overnight, im guessing that they were eaten by Pictus catfish? or reed fish?

Anyway there is one small barb left i have a spare tank but no heater what's the best option for him? leave him in original tank or transfer to spare tank next to radiator?

Sadly if a fish is small enough to fit in a fish mouth he will make a meal.
I would isolate the fish for now even if its in one of those breeding boxes you place in the tank. Till he gets bigger in size.

Yeah I put him in a fintro which I've wedged inside the tank
