i found a baby platy in my tank about a week ago
just 1
and a couple of days ago i went to my lps and they had young week old guppies
then today i went back and bought my platy 2 new guppie friends they are so cute together

You are probably going to get more baby platies in about a month. The female livebearers can store sperm and can produce up to seven batches of fry from having access to a male for a few hours once. This is why they are so prolific. I was in the LFS once and this irate guy marched up to the poor woman and berated her about sexing his mollies wrong! He was convinced that she had given him a male even though she had assured him they were all female because his tank was full of fry.
