Baby Fish

Hi guys one of my red top hongi's has been holding fish now for over 3 weeks...i have seen the babies in the tank on friday last week but she keeps sucking them back up again..is this what they do or should i do something about it...

Also the other female is holding too as of yesterday...

It's normal. Eventually though, she'll stop caring for them and feel that they're safe enough to go on their own.. which is the time when they numbers start to drop. It won't be long now before she gives up.. Ive only known them to go about a week, if that.
