hello,
at the end of last year i changed my fresh water tank into a cichlid tank and in the past four month the fish keep having loads of babys, i was advised to take them out when i see them, which i have been doing and now have a seporate tank set up but four weeks back i noticed a shole of baby checkered julies hiding in a cave that where too small to put in the other tank and couldent set up anther tank so had to leave them all in......crule i know but the other tank has 11 reasonably sized fish in, and these are tiney, so i made the hard choice.............
four weeks on they are still in there with loads of fish that dont seem bothered about them, they have been swimming hapily out of the cave and even swim out for feeding
but my electric yellow had babys yesterday which i believed would be as safe as the julies but my adult synidontice ate them all within mins
he has left the julies is there a reason for them not being breakfast?
i also have another pregnant fish and dont know if i should move her or not?
