Wow they can't be very old? Just a few days? Hope i can breed my BN's one day :)

:good:

darling! That's a first for me. I see that only so many have eyes? What's that all about?

The ones with eyes are 2 days old the ones without are only a day old or less, the parents of these are only about 10 months old and this is their first batch of young.

That's awesome, congrats! I've never had bn's before, but they're really cute!

Thats great, Im gonna try to breed them one day , not on the top of my list at the moment

Awww I remember when mine still looked like little orange sperms, now they are cm long eating machines that infest every nook and cranny of my tank

They are super cute ! please keep us update with growth piccies ! :good:

 I stand corrected! What a difference a day makes! :hyper:

Seems we were both right, it is the first time I have had albino fry from a normal pair of adults, all the 2 day old fry were normals but half of the 1 day old fry were albino. I have a mix of normal fry, albino fry and about 6 mottled black and white fry.

Here are a few pics of them now they are 5 days old, couldnt get a decent picture of the mottled ones but will try next time.

Just out of interest what do you feed them?
Do they eat liquid food like other baby fry? Or do they go straight on to sucking algae?

They get a small peice of cucumber on a morning with some liquifry and powdered bloodworm or trout paellet on an evening again with liquifry, if the male had looked after them they would have had a good supply of algae but unfortnatley I had to remove the eggs so they are in their own 5 gallon tank.
