I have a plakat and a veiltail but it definitely looks like a plakat to me

Maybe but they all look the same when they are that young, characteristics won't show through until they are older, that is a rather long anal fin he has there so I'm thinking he will fill out more but it will be interesting to see.

Ooh lovely yes I have been trying to find local breeders near me, so I can buy a young one, rather than shop bought, but nobody does
