today i noticed a small fish in our pond we only have goldies and koi in the pond and was wondering if they have not bred (did not notice any eggs) it is 1000 L pond. any ideas. the "babies" are just smaller than a guppy

It's probably a baby goldfish; goldies breed very readily in ponds, although only a few fry usually survive.

It could be a koi, but they don't breed as easily as goldies.

When my dad and I had goldfish in our pond, we never saw eggs, but we'd frequently see small goldfish. They're usually dark in color while they're young and then they color up.

thanks but sadly i dont think many r left does this mean theyll breed again

there are 2 left and they are about 3 cm long already

My goldfish bred all through the summer months in the UK.

Nice, mine usually take a couple of years before they get their colour. Some are quite large by then
