Im a Daddy, after 3 weeks of holding my Red Top Afra spat the fry today, did a good job for her first time, don't know how many there are but I can only see 4 hiding in the rocks. Don't think removing them is an option as there are just too many rocks in the tank.

Doing a water change tonight just wondering what to do regard feeding them, I know ideally they want some live food, but will they survive on what they can scavenge from the others?

What is the growth rate on them?

When I left fry in the tank they survived on what they could scavange. Don't expect many or even any of the to survive, the adults are pretty good at hunting them down. As for growth rates, IME they grow pretty slow when they're in with the adults, probably because of the lack of abundant food.
