3 days ago we found a molly baby dead, this morning 2 more. They were a week old yesterday. They were all big, eating well and can find no explaination for this.
Then we also found my little platty. He/she was 6 weeks old, we had noticed he was swimming a little funny (his tail curled round then went straight)a few days ago but was still eating and swimming. He didn't grow very much over the last few weeks.
We have checked as many babies as we can, no cloudy eyes, no white patches, no worms, no nothing. The water is fine. We have no idea. I know you can lose some babies but a week and 6 weeks later?
I'm upset about our platy, names Charlie the Survivor. He survived twice in the main tank until we finally rescued him for good. I was going to keep him. Now he's gone.
We don't want to lose any more babies so if anyone has had the same thing happen, I would love to hear your story.
