Hi,

Just thought you might want to see how my new tank is going.

I've had it set up since 27/09/05 and still waiting for the fishless cycle to end. Changed the layout about 3 times now and this is the final result. As you can see some of the plants need to grow out still but it seems to be doing ok. what do you think?

Yeah i've been doing loads of research on the fish I want and checking out the local shops. Going have a school of long finned white cloud minnows, maybe some cardinals, about 6 cories and a mix of a few shrimp. eventually I want a pair of blue rams but i'm going to leave it a while before adding them.

How about Some Amano shrimp And have a look at the Bolivian rams!!

My girlfriend really wanted to get the blue rams untill she saw the bolivian rams in the shop.. They are really nice.

Also, which Corys you going for?

I've had a look at bolivians and their nice but I think I prefer Blue Rams.

I'm going to get 2 Corydoras sterbai, 2 green Corydoras aeneus and 2 others maybe Corydoras arcuatus.

Also I have fallen in love with zebra plecs, they only grow to 3" and look gorgeous so I may get one of those too. dont want to over do it though..

your best off getting a lrage group of 1 type of cory, they need to be in groups of atleast 3 of the same species.

forget zebra plecs they cost around £150 and anyone that does buy them should be buying for the purpose of breeding.
