Looks like a young male Barbus fasciatus (Banded barb) to me, lets see what LL thinks.

Yeah, B. fasciatus. Has a row of common names, Banded Barb as CFC has mentioned, widely known as a Melon Barb, (for many years the species was known as Barbus melanampyx). Also called an Ember Barb, because the male turns a rich red colour in breeding attire.

Peaceful enough fish, but grows to about 150mm/6". Bit of a plant nibbler.
