Gurt shiny tank. Only cost me £12.50 altogether :D

Hard to photograph because of the dark gravel and bluey light. Very pretty tank though.

Off fish shopping in a bit, or maybe shrimp, luckilly the shop I'm going to has lots of minifische. Or failing that, I'll make it SW with some feeder shrimp.

(The tank is designed specially for the assorted Glofish and other Azoo patented fish, even comes with a specially formulated food. Shame they're illegal.)

Neato, how much water does it hold?

An alternative to glow fish might be glowlight tetras. They are completely natural and particularly hardly.

Why are glowfish illegal? I was pretty sure that they were lab made and not dyed.

It's only about a gallon or so, but the filter's pretty big for the tank size (60lph roughly) and the dimensions aren't too awful, so stocking's going to be more experimental than anything. Speaking of which, the Azoo guidelines are certainly interesting. Apaprently stocking level can be worked out by doing length/cm+width/cm+4. So for this, it's about 15+15+4, or 34cm worth or fish. Yup, s'all good...

Something to do with the GM side of things, not sure what the official reasons are but it's probably mroe a case of wanting to avoid contoversy.

Thats a shame, i liked the glowfish. If the animal's quality of life is not under threat, and they're sterile, you'd think that'd be enough to legalize it.

Cool,

I bought 1 aswell, gonna pick them up on monday. No postage for me as he lives les than 5 mins from me.

Nice looking Tank ,Can i ask where did you get it .

thanks

Something must be wrong with that math... thats over 12" of fish in a 1 gallon...

At the minute it has four gold WCMM (did have five, one decided to jump into the filter out stream bit, which wasn't too clever). They're minescule and very skinny, so the advantage of the smaller tank is that I can make sure they're eating plenty. Don't know how long their stay will last, depends how they get on and what else I find.
