well after talking to the breeder i origionally got my axie off. (who is now a beast!) i ended up getting some eggs from him for free. which is really nice of him. so Kudos to him!

anyway. i released the eggs into the hatching tank. im going to raise them in here until i start getting size differences. the smaller ones will stay and the larger ones will go into an 80l tub ive got. im trying to get some daphnia cultures going. i was sent a small amount with the eggs i put them into the tank with the eggs, so hopefully there should be enough food by the time the eggs hatch to start them off.

im looking forward to them. im going to enjoy raising them.

has anyone ealse ever raised axolotl's?

will get some pics when something interesting happens!

cheers

Nice one :good: ....qrong forum though lol (sure a mod shall move it)

My axies havent bred yet but theyve reached sexual maturity (ie swollen clocola or whatever it is lol and nails formed).
All i can say is be careful with your choice of foods for the babies.Food such as daphnia sometimes attacks them...
Good luck though and keep us posted :D

attacks them?
lol. nah im sure i will be fine. this is what the breeder has always raised them on. lol the daphnia are about that big . and the axies are about _ lol.
