Hey guys,

I'm at my parents house, an hour away from where i live. I will be here for about 9 days. There is nobody near my place I fully trust to enter my house and feed my fish.

Will he be okay? Or should i move his entire tank with me here? Thanks for your help!

It's a 5.5 gallon tank.

if it is just a betta tank,
then I would say just take it with you.

all you need to do is take half of the water out of the tank and put it in a bucket and take the tank of coarse, this just makes it easier to transport the tank without spillages and stress on the tank

i think he'd be fine at home before you leave feed about 5 bloodoworm he should be fine for 9 days they can go for a while without food. It will cause stress moving him. ITs your choice you could take him with you but i think its best to leave him where he is.

Lol, riding down the motorway with his bowl sticking out the window and he is lifting his head out of the bowl, opening his mouth and wagging his tail... er, fins :p

he will be fine for 9 days aslong as you feed him well before you go and things like bloodworn a brine shrimp.

i took mine away with me on holiday for 2 weeks - took 3 boys and 2 girls

Haha! Thank you all for for the advice....After making the post, I just got paranoid and went back to my house and brought him with me

I hate uncertainty, and plus I don't have fresh bloodworms....and he doesnt touch the dried ones.

Anyhoo, it was heck of a lot of work, but I feel more satisfied that he is here with me......once he moved back in his tank...he was a happy camper and ate a pellet :).
