I wanted to make a list of all the fish which are commonly stocked in LFS but which should be avoided without research and the proper setup. This would've helped me a lot with my stocking, but it's too late now.

GOLDFISH - we all know what these look like and there's too many varieties to post pics, but these grow way too big for the aveage tank
CHINESE ALGAE EATERS - Pets at Home sell these as sucking loaches. They're very agressive and can grow to over 20cm. I have 2 thanks to them
