I'm rasing guppy fry and one balloon molly baby in a 2.5 gallon tank and was wondering how long they live for.

) This isn't part of the question...but I have to tell someone! My balloon molly baby just turned three months old. I named her Mandy, after her beloved mother Mindy so I just changed the second letter. This is special to me because I never was able to raise fry for a long time, but now I know how I seem to keep my fry alive without losing all of them. Mandy's color is bright orange with tiny blacks dots. Hopefully she'll be the first fry I ever had that grow up into an adult!

well a store bought guppy arounfd 1 year and so the molly. But hand raised fry around two years

Not sure about mollies,but gups have a lifespan of two years or so. With the best of care they can live to be 3 or so. I had my male blue delta for over 2 years. He was a good little guy.
