Hi could someone recommend an automatic fish feeder for hols etc
thanks
whats that called and where can you get it from?I've read a lot of threads regarding the inefficiency of automatic fish feeders. I think most of the problem lie on the fact that it's giving out food more than what the fish could eat. Owners come back to a heavily polluted tank due to uneaten food.
I'd suggest getting something like this:

You can pre-measure the food for each compartment. You could also leave some of the compartments empty to make a "feed every two days or every other day" schedule. Leaving a day or two in between unsupervised feeding will help reduce the number of uneaten food.

this is a good thread is im going away for three weeks soon and i need a feeder, i shall watch with intrest![]()
