Attempting To Put Pics Up

Ok here are the pics of my Cichlids I believe what i have here are 2 electric yellows 1 male 1 female also a male Johanni and a female Auratus. Im posting these to make sure this is what i have so if I am let me know please.

If these arent working please tell me this is my first attempt.

Ok the thing im wondering is could my Electric Yellows possibly not be electric yellows at all and be Pseudotropheus Saulosi? These 2 species look almost exactly the same at the younger stages in life but when the Saulosi Male matures they turn a very pretty blue color with black Vertical stripes but when younger like i said they look almost exactly like a Electric yellow.

Hi mate what you need to do is learn the scientific names for your fish I know its hard but using names like "electric yellow" and electric blue" doesnt help as lfs call all fish the names. As for your Johanni im almost certain that that is a Melanochromis Cynearhabdos (maingano) and not a Johanni Ferris will more than likely confirm this later, if it turns out that it is a maingano it wont be as aggressive and i would suggest getting 2 more as they are great fish.

Mark is spot on - it's definitely a Melanochromis Cyaneorhabdos, which is a good thing - they are less aggressive then Johanni and just as good looking

Man you guys are good Its crazy how alike they are to the Johanni and im calling my LFS today to see if they will take this female Melanochromis Auratus back and Give me a Female Melanochromis Cyaneorhabdos seeing how when i bought these 2 the lady was sure they were the same species and went together I think she thought the Male Cyaneorhabdos was a Johannii and the female Auratus was a female Johannii im noy really sure but I do know that the male Cyaneorhabdos keeps chasing her around everytime she even shows her face.
