Hi,
I have a serious problem where I have 4 female mollies (all Pregnant) 1 male. They all started attacking each other so I seperated the male but it is still continueing amongst the girls. Two have tail injuries which I have treated the water for but i'm not sure whether to put the male back and seperate some of the females. Any advice would be very welcome,
Regards
Madeleine

when I first started keeping mollies (18 months ago) I ,like you, used to hate seeing them fight

one day they would get on fine..the next, they were trying to kill eachother

so at first I did the separating thing..then got sick of it..in and out...in and out
(plus the poor little things were getting stressed being moved)

it is their natures to be a bit aggressive ....I would suggest you just keep them all together..put the male back...and eventually they may get along!!!

(only remove one if it is a total rogue)

only remove a female if you want to raise all the fry and do the breeding thing properly

all the best
