at what age do mollies become sexually active?

i think it is around 12-18 months

It's less I believe, between 5-7 months. I have only been keeping fish for just under a year. The numbers of fry I've seen from my first batch of fry indicates it's less. Males may mature slower in the presence of another mature male.

Their life spans are not very long, relatively speaking, so they need to mature fast and make offspring.
