A man i spoke to today said that Astatotilapia Latifasciata are almost extinct in the wild and are quiet rare in an aquarium and that i got him for a good price. Mamafish said there common in the us what about the uk?

From what i can find about them they are extinct in the wild so i bet they would be very pricy i have never even heard of them before now.

here is mine the man sold it to me as a peacock didnt know what it was i got it for £6

My LFS in Manchester quite often has them, can't say i've noticed the price though.
