Hello, I shattered ANOTHER Power compact handling mine yesterday, while looking up a new one I noticed that you can get dual spectrum: * Daylight White : White 7100k
* Daylight Actinic : White 7100k + Blue 12000k
* Moonlight Actinic : Blue 12000k
* Freshwater Tropical : White 7100k + Pink 8000k
* Freshwater Plant : Pink 8000k + Blue 12000k
* Freshwater Colour : Pink 8000k
I'm looking at freshwate tropical, what kind of light would I get?
I love the look of my daylight plus should I just stick to that?

The tropical freshwater doesn't sound bad at all :hyper:
Could be interesting to give it a go.
Where have you seen all these for sale mate?

any of those except the Moonlight actinic or the Freshwater colour pink 8000K, would be fine.

8000K is actually a very good colour temp for plants. It's what most of the ADA tanks use. What I am confused about is why they are referring it as "pink". From what I've seen of 8000K it's not pink. More of a white that high lights green in plants.

Yeah, thats what confused me, I hated the look of triplus because of its purple/pink aesthetic.
I guess, I could just email them. Aquatics online is where I found them I believe, they seem pretty good, gotta be worth a try 2 spectral ranges is better than one after all.
