Asap Help Fish Havin Fit!?

ahh!

everything was going so well! i need asap replies guys as im off to see girls aloud at 5 15, so need asap replies.
my red robin gourami has been acting low but hasd been fine all week. its in a 48ltr with corys, neon tetras and platys and 1 other gourami (2 platys , 5 neons and 2 corys.)

water stats ph 7.2 n's are both 0

the fish has just been found doin what seems to be uncontrolable fits of swirling round and round very fast around the tank. then gasping for air at the top of the tank. iv never seen this behavoir before but its definatly not normal surely! the other day i herd a bang on the top of the tank and wondered wehat it is and it must of been that!?

whats rong now!?

I had that happen before with a Tetra and never knew what it was. Do you have a hospital tank and an antibiotic ?

I had this with a gourami and she died within a few days,never did find out what it was.

Mine died within a day but I would still try to save him if you can. What meds do you have ?

i bought some med that treats, internal bacteria shall i use that?

Swimming in circles really fast can be toxins, swim bladder, internal parasites, or the fish is dying.

twitching can just be muscle spasms and are relatively harmless, however if there is a parasite or toxin as wilder suggests, an antibiotic will not touch it.

antibiotics treat bacteria not parasetic infections

Well he's still ok today so hopefully it could be what you suggested truck, and is totaly harmless. he just seems to be swimming a little wobly but hes always done that and hes been fine so hopefully it was a false alarm. :few!:

Does he swim on his side.

well he looked completly normal, all poo fine all swimming balance fine. the only thing wrong was he hovered in the water and didnt really swim around.

found him upside down at the bottom of the tank about 10 minutes ago when i came in from work. poor thing.

so now iv had two deaths, all of the other fish look completly normal. will do water changes every day and if not what is/has killed my fish?
