as requested more pics

Ah ha....i still thought there were living together. I'll have to see how it goes as I also have a L115 to go in there when he out grows the 90g.

Don't threat about the TSN once he's too big I'll be taking him into work to sell there then advertise on the net aswell.

If i had no lid I would be i would be petrified of my RED tail gold arowana jumping out....you don't let £300 die on a carpet!!

There are acrylic sliding covers though. Once I stop buying expensive things I'll set about getting some stronger covers sorted and maybe desiogn it to give some more space before hitting themselfs.

Just fed some river shrimp and the arowana went nuts trying to catch this big shrimp. I saw the rays go over the few but the shrimp came out the cover end which was disapointing.

No guesses for the tube guy at all.......wells he's my litle ornate birchir.

I'm tempted to get a Merodontus Tigrinus now/soon, having a look around at the prices and there not too bad.

Just done an image serach on google for the 2 types of ray i might have and i think it's the hystrix. On the reticulas i didn't see any spikes up the tail where as on the hystrix pictures and on my rays they have spikes up the centre of the tail.

thats weird that the tank gets cloudy when the sand is moved around,

THATS why you wash your sand :p :p

my cons mess with the sand allll the time, and the tank aint even cloudy at all

They really act like dogs IMO/E with them , very personable  . I still swear the very first one I ever bought picked me :D

lol, you don't need to wash the sand!! It's taken me less time to sort it out now thatn it would of washing it in the first place :p

His personality hasn't properly come through yet in his new home, getting there though.

just realised after uploading my phone pics i have taken a better pic of my rays on my phone than camera.....

Hmm picture isn't showing for me right now....is it working for others??

They usually hiden in the morning when i check in before college and work but laster on they start moving around and when it's feeding time there everywhere.

the pic on this page is not working for me

but going from the pics on the first page your tank is awesome and you have such nice and healthy looking fish

there we go reloaded it, i think it's linked to the forum server going down....oh well

thanks debiasir.

Ok i have to say....Isn't moving a 20" shovel nose going to be a chore¿ I mean i have shaky hands moving my Tiger barbs around.....I wish you luck with that :p

I'm trying not to think about that!!

He'll have to go sooner than that though. I'm currently watching a 12" TSN on ebay which is at £77 at the moment...although mine doesn't hand feed yet! i'll let him get to around that size, should take another few months.

£77 for a 12" TSN!, whoever is bidding on that must have more money than sense or not know what they are buying. You can buy a small 4" TSN for £20 and grow it to 12 inches in 4 months. A LFS near me has a 12-18" TSN which they are GIVING away to anyone who has a tank large enough to house it, potential owners must have a 10x3x2' tank minimum and a home inspection will be given to check that the tank and filtration are suitable.
Really you will be lucky to get anything for your TSN as these grow too large for anything but public aquarium sized tanks, and public aquariums dont pay to do you the favour of taking your over grown fish. If there was any money to be made at it we would all be growing out huge catfish, arowana's and pacu to sell for huge profits.

True I'm surprised it's going for that much but I'll find a buyer with a large tank.

I know there's quite a few locally with big tanks. My boss told me there's a guy with a few thousand gallon tank made out of fibre glass with 3 RTC's in there.

I also know of alot of people with large 8ft tanks which come into the shop aswell, although not big enough for life they would be a welcomed home.

Can you make out any more from the last pic CFC?

also do all rays have the litle spikes up the middle of there tails??

im pretty sure they are Reticulatus and as far as im aware all rays have the row of small spikes all the way up the tail.
