I have seen in multiple instances that flash-frozen peas are good for fish when thawed and fed to them. Steamed, unaltered soybeans are slightly different, but I just wanted to make sure of whether fishies are capable of eating the things or not. I sometimes tend to have them on hand more often than peas, but I'd be happy to treat the little ones with green peas as well.

If there's a thread of well known "Do's and don'ts" for feeding certain fish, I'd love a link.

I don't see why not, soy is in most fish foods. I've fed my fish all kinds of fresh and frozen veggies. Just boil them up, no salt, and let the feeding frenzy begin.
