Artificial Plants

Ive given up trying to grow real plants in my 2ft tank and have taken out the last straggly bits
It now looks even worse than before so I need some artificial plants and just wonder what type is best.
Ive seen plastic,silk and even linen ones on e bay
Which would you reccommend?

If your after realistic, I'd go for plastic. Although some silk are quite realistic too.

I think the silk ones look more realistic because they kind of move in the water. Your fish are less likely to hurt themselves on them too. However they are a bit more moeny (or they were when I bought them).

Have a look on ebay, there are loads of auctions on there for different types of artificial plants.

eBay is a good place to try. I really don't like the silk plants, they always seem to fray over time. One of my favorite plants is the amazon sword plastic plant that Penn Plax makes.
