Arthritis & Aquarium

I think having a cold water aquarium is not good at all for arthritis. I've got it in my right hand and it has been acting up for about a week. This didn't happen when the water was heated. Anyone have experience with this?

My uncle had the same thing happen to him. He has had tropical freshwater tanks his whole life and no problem working in and around the tanks but shortly after he started 2 coldwater tanks he experienced arthritis flare ups when spending any amount of time working in the tanks or preparing the water.
