arrrgh! not sunset! why did it have to be him?!!

i've heard about some peoples betta's having blown tails or something...when ever i saw something like that, i though "ha...that sux" and nothing more of it...well, my betta, which the best tail form of all my betta's, and the best coloring, now has a shredded tail! he's soo...*ugh*....it don't look like somethin torn him up, which could be the only other possible explanation since he's in with 3 minnows.....but the minnows don't have any kind of temperment! if anything, they're afraid of him cuz he's soo much bigger! so i'm just gonna write that off the list....and theres no one else in the tank, so i think he done it to himself....it's not shredded looking like he got beat up or something....it just looks like his anal fin turned into a crowntail fin....with very thin prongs...

Is this what happened to him? did he blow his fins?

why why why......my best betta.....aggghhh i'm just so frusterated....

oh ya, i should mention that he is fine. he's not hiding, dashing, scratching, diseased looking, listeless....he's his normal self! why why why.....

does he have a power filter in there? i had a betta that loved to twirl around the betta...and i woke up one morning to him wtih a shredded tail

yes, but i only turn it on when i think the cage looks bad....it hasn't been on for a while.....
