My Sajica laid eggs about 3 days ago, today when i woke up and checked on the fish i noticed quite a few speckles of Ich
I automatically went for the protozin treatment, however this evening i noticed the eggs starting to hatch and therefore am not sure if i should continue the treatment with wrigglers in the tank, im thinking that removing the parents wouldnt be a good idea, specially as the female is being very protective of the pit shes dug for the wrigglers. They are the only fish in this tank so the Ich has just appeared not been introduced by any other fish, the only fish ive ever had Ich with was my Clown Loach and hes always lived in my Living Room.
This scenario has never occured to me before so wouldnt mind a little advice on whether or not i should continue the Ich treatment or not, or any other alternatives (maybe im resigned to losing this batch of wrigglers)
