Yeah that was a while ago I contacted the department that deal with these cases (Metropolitan Police's Wildlife Crime Unit ) trying to basically puch my luck and try and get hold of one of these fish once that had scanned them got all relevant chip numbers etc. But to no avail they go to "authorised" sources they can gaurantee though that the fish will not be destroyed.

Shame they dont just sell them off for charity or somthing.

PFK unfortunately do not have the full facts on this and I hope to see an apology from them in the near future as the chap who this happened to is one of the nicest people you could hope to meet.
