Argos Play Sand !

hi i have read many things about sand and what can and carnt be used i was wondering if anybody has used the argos play sand in there tanks as its pretty cheap and looks nice SO have or has anybody used it many thanks

its good. it is inert. looks great just needs loads of washing

Yes it is prefectly safe. Wash it in a bucket with the hosepipe in so your tank water doesn't go cloudy. I use it in my tank and its fine and looks brilliant!

works a treat i done mine about a month ago

the only prob i found was i took the best part of a day 2 settel but it looks graet

Just clean it and it will look sweet.

go to toys 'r' us and get there sand its £5 for 25 kilos, its more expensive but doesnt need washing

Hi, was wondering how you know you do not need to wash this play sand??
Is it via experience?
Asking as I am going to buy some argos play sand until I saw this.
Could you let us know.
